Information for Reenactors

The "Battle for Newbury" is the sequel to the "Escape from Boston" event held at the Spencer-Peirce-Little Farm in 2017 (see link to Images below). The farm is located in the beautiful seaside town of Newbury, MA, which offers a variety of restaurants and pubs for those wishing to venture off-site.

The farm grounds are level and offer plenty of open space for camping, drill demonstrations, and battle scenarios. There even is a ball diamond that can be used as a cricket pitch for those so inclined. Plenty of parking, wood, hay, and water will be available, as well as flush toilets during the daytime. All units, line, light infantry, militia, artillery, cavalry, etc. are welcome (Note: Participation is subject to the approval of the host units.)

A multitude of sutlers will be present to satisfy your "reenactor" shopping needs as well as colonial demonstrators, modern food vendors, and Ipswich Ale and 1634 Meadery purveying their locally crafted beer and mead. Saturday night, there will be a tavern featuring a variety of Ipswich Ale, local foods, and other libations.
